Machapu Adventures was established by local Peruvian surfers as a means of sustainably developing opportunities for traveling surfers, while protecting the unique resources and cultural heritage with which our nation is blessed. Mindful of the perfect surfing found along Peru’s vast coastline, which has been overlooked as a world-class destination, Machapu Adventures aims to outfit visitors with the finest personalized, customized surf tours for surfers, and their families, looking for new adventures.

Our mission is to give fellow surfers from around the world the opportunity to ride some of the best waves on the planet safely, comfortably and efficiently, while also enjoying the historical and cultural treasures of this fabled land.

Machapu Adventure tours are generally restricted to groups of no more than 8 people, keeping the lineups wide open and friendly and enabling us to provide personalized, detailed services. We offer unique adventures, not wholesale surf trips.
 
Our tours also generate an important source of income for local surfers, restaurants, hotels and other businesses.  In exchange, the locals are happy to welcome and share the waves, cultural treasures and customs of Peru with traveling surfers and their families seeking the most unique surfing experience in one of the world's richest wave gardens. We are also committed to offering sustainable, green and environmentally responsible tours that will preserve Peru’s natural wonders for generations to come.
 
Our tour guides are among the most talented and knowledgeable surfers from Peru, local chargers intimately familiar with the intricacies of every unique surf-spot. Fluent in several languages, they are committed to acting as ambassadors of Peru’s cultural heritage. More importantly, all of our guides are highly trained in ocean rescue and are committed to ensuring a safe and fun surfing experience for all skill-levels.
